Exploring
Recently I was on the part of a highway I'd only been on a few times. For those of you local to the Idyllwild area, I was on the road between Pine Cove and Banning. Anyway, as sunset was approaching I was hoping for a great view and dove off the road a couple of time to check out the possible views.
I turned onto a dirt road and then took a quick right up into these pines. Within minutes, the colors came alive.
Sure, I have my favorite spots in the mountains or at the beach. I know what to expect and the angles I want. However, it's fun to explore and find something different. Honestly, sometimes it's not that great...but this day was just fine!
Could you take another route to work? What about going to a brand new restaurant, even though you are comfortable with your go-to place. Explore a little. You might like it!!
