Gaurdrails
It seems most people are repelled by anyone telling them what they should or shouldn't do. However, I'm one that appreciates the protective guardrails in my life. I've actually established some for myself to keep me out of trouble.
As a follower of Jesus, I do believe He loves me and wants the best for me. So, when He tells me to do something I want to do it. When He tells me not to do something, I know it's because of His love for me. He's wanting to protect and provide. So, when He says no, I know that guardrail is there for my protection.
This mostly frozen lake has this stunning little bridge across one section of the lake. Trust me, as beautiful as it is, to go beyond these guardrails is no bueno!!!
