Just be nice!
I was working on some shots near the pier at sunset when I saw a young surfer standing under the pier watching her friend riding a wave. I asked her nicely if she wouldn't mind standing where I needed her for a shot. No problem!
It's actually amazing to me how much being nice actually works. Ha. Seriously, I think people are so used to be barked at, they're more than happy to help out if we just ask nicely.
Give it a try this week. Be nice...and see what happens.
